Indicators for production, consumption and export of electricity are improving although negative values remain high. This has been made clear in Electricity System Operator (TSO) report, covering the following period: 01.01. – 16.10.2016 in comparison with the data from the same period of 2015. According to the data cited above electricity production decreased by 10.58% in 2016, compared to 2015 and the export declined by 40.42%.
According to data from previous months, export decreased by over 50%, while now the data shows improvement of the indicator by nearly 10%. However, compared with the period 1 January to 16 October 2015, overall data is still negative and the reasons for this probably are – on the one hand the improvement of energy efficiency and on the other – the decline of some of the main Economic Indicators.
