The European commission proposed the lowest target of 0% for Bulgaria, regarding the reduction of annual greenhouse emissions for sectors outside the EU emissions trading system for the period 2021-2030. This was discussed at a meeting of the Council of Environment Ministers in the EU in Luxembourg, which was attended by Minister Vasileva. Up to 2020, the legislation in EC is governed by the current package Energy-Climate”.
